Crisis at the Ubyssey!

We here at the RBT have just learned that the election for the Ubyssey Board of Directors may be considered unconstitutional, due to an archaic constitution and a lack of procedures being adhered to.

In an exclusive interview with a member of the editorial team, the RBT was informed that procedure such as notice requirements were not followed. The editorial board of the Ubyssey, a body with no governing say over the paper’s elections, will be making a recommendation to the Elections Administrator regarding whether or not elections should go forward, or be cancelledYian’d. The RBT will try to liveblog this meeting, if we can get in (and we have ninjae that will try).

The AMS Elections Administrator could not be contacted in press time… mostly because we didn’t try.
