this means WAR!

It began as a simple misunderstanding over Twitter. When we found out that a McLeans was running in the VFM race, we thought it was the return of Joey Coleman, since he competed last year. Since this money will be taken away, and not at all spent on beer for UBC students, we reacted like so:

“Screw you @JoeyColeman , for trying to take we poor UBC students beer money away from us by entering VFM. Screw you.”

Naturally, after we realized our mistake, we corrected it. But Joey couldn’t let this go. Now, we never actually declared war (at least we hadn’t up till then). Now is a different story.

Nobody insults the RBT or our West Coast Beer like that and gets away with it. Granville Island could take on your Ontario beers any time of day. Hell, even Pacific Pilsner is better! This means WAR!

Now, Mr. Coleman, I suggest we settle this in a gentlemanly manner. A challange will settle this – Webcam CENTURION! LotusLand v. SteelTown. One of our editors against Canada’s student union source. Think you’re up for it? Do you accept my challange?

Leave the poor guy alone. He’s probably still smarting from the sound thrashing he received from the Cavalier last year, after he went to war with us commerce peeps.

That is, he’d better still be smarting. If he’s trying to start something again… get him boys!

Where is your beloved Cavalier this year?
